Why Fiber Optic?

  • Fiber optic cable is one of the fastest-growing transmission mediums for new cabling installations and upgrades, including backbone, horizontal, and desktop applications. It offers several advantages over copper:

 – It provides faster network speeds

 – Fiber isn’t affected by electromagnetic interference,

 – Can run alongside electric cabling

 – Can connect remote buildings over 100 of kilometers

Fiber Optic Repair

Fiber Optic cabling deploys for mission-critical business solutions—for example, speed interconnection of buildings and remote voice data. If fiber does ever fail, it can have a significant effect on your business. At NETech Communications, we ensure that our repairs are carried out swiftly within short lead times with minimal business downtime. Our engineers will diagnose, locate, and, wherever possible, repair the fault in your cabling; we can also advise you on ways to avoid the problem in the future.

Fiber Optic Testing

We utilize industry-leading Fluke network testing equipment to test and certify all fiber installations. All new fiber optic installations completed by NETech Communications are subject to testing to TIA/EIA standard 568BC industry standards. Each core tested produces a full test report to confirm that the cabling exceeds the industry standards. Test reports can be in either electronic (PDF) or as a hard copy. We can also test your existing cabling if required to see if they are working to their full potential.
